Carter, Sheree

Hello My Name Is...
Sheree Carter

Welcome to my classroom!  I am excited to be a part of your educational experience.   My family and I have lived in the area just over a year and a half, but have made   many friends in this wonderful community and plan to call the RGV home for many   years to come.
I am blessed to be married to my best friend, Drew, for 30 years, and we have a  daughter, a son, 2 dogs and a cat.

Please go to Google Classroom, and have your child enter their school email address ( and password.  They will then enter their unique class code number (given to them in class) to be able to access all materials in our class. The math text book book can be accessed under useful links on this webpage.

Students are expected to…

  1. Take notes in their journal. Journals are checked each grading period and count for a test grade.
  2. Complete assignments on time. 10 pts will be deducted for each day an assignment is late, up to 3 days. If a student chooses not to turn in an assignment, then he/she will accept the consequences of a zero. Assignments, class notes, and helpful videos are posted on Google Classroom.
  3. Show logical work on all problems.  No work shown, no grade!
  4. Come to class prepared with materials (pencil, paper, assignment, and math binder/folder.
  5. Use only pencil in Math. Name, class period, and date is required on all papers being turned in.
  6. Be responsible for following teacher instructions and be responsible for his/her own behavior.
  7. Ask for assistance in class if needed. Ask to make up all quizzes and tests and turn in all assignments immediately after an absence. A student is given the same number of days to make up an assignment as they were absent.
